S.I.G. 1, the company’s first fund, was closed in November 2009. Total funds raised, in the form of initial equity plus a bond, were Euro 40 Million.

The objective set for S.I.G. 1 in November 2009 was to develop and manage 25 MWp worth of Solar P.V. projects in Central and Southern Italy by end 2010, through the deployment of equity and substantial use of Project Financing.

A year later, S.I.G. 1 owns a diversified portfolio of Solar plants, constructed by 6 among the leading contractors and producing approximately 28 MWp, all in the final stages of construction and financing;

Considering both equity and debt a total of approximately €120m have been invested, achieving a forecasted average portfolio IRR of 16%.
